Why stay in South Maui?

You’ll find the sunniest, driest area of Maui on the lovely "South Side."  Kihei weather rarely disappoints. Miles of sandy beaches and clear views of the islands of Lanai, Molokai and Kaho'olawe, South Maui is a place for lazy beach days and warm romantic nights. Explore the underwater aquarium at Maui Ocean Center at the whale friendly Maalaea Bay. Golf at world-class courses in Wailea and Makena. Shop and dine in some of Maui’s finest restaurants andresorts. The upscale resort area of Wailea is only a short scenic drive away. The main draws of Kihei condo rentals in South Maui are the long stretches of beaches, glistening views of the Pacific ocean, and the centralized location to the rest of the island.  Kihei is centrally located so that it's very convenient for you to explore any part of the island on any day! 

We are located directly across the street from Sugar Beach! Known in Hawaiian as Mai Poina Oe La'u. Sugar Beach is the longest uninterrupted walking beach on Maui. Besides strolling along beach combing and looking for shells and whales, you will be taking in the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. North Kihei is also a popular destination for kite and wind surfers, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and snorkeling with tropical reef fish like the humuhumunukunukuapua'a, our state fish, and the endangered and graceful sea turtles. From the Kihei boat ramp, head out on one of the local dive boats for scuba diving, snorkeling, or whale watching.

We are also centrally located in Maui. A short, 20 minute drive (approximately 15 miles) from Kahului Airport (OGG). Since there is so much to see and do all over Maui, we suggest getting a rental car. All major car companies are available at the airport.  

Golf courses, shopping centers, convenience stores and full super markets are all less than five minutes away. Costco, Target, Wal-Mart and K-Mart are conveniently located by the airport.​
